Imran, Bushra Did Not Benefit from Al Qadir Trust Case: Former PM
Former premier Imran Khan stated in a statement on Thursday that neither he nor his wife, Bushra Bibi, made a profit economically in the Al-Qadir Trust case, and business magnate Malik Riaz could testify that he was the sole premier that “never sought anything from him for personal or financial gain.”
This week, Imran Bushra and Bushra were found guilty of the PS190m Al-Qadir Trust case, in which Riaz and his son were also charged and declared offenders.
After the verdict following the conviction, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday took action to bring charges against Riaz to return him to Pakistan after being deported to his home in the United Arab Emirates.
While the PTI and the legal community have emphasized the necessity of accountability for all concerned, the Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated the previous day that the consultations were ongoing about ways to bring the others who were absconding back.
On Thursday, a blog post on X Imran Khan’s Instagram account stated: “Neither Bushra Bibi nor I have benefited financially from this trust.” Al-Qadir Trust in any way.
“Malik Riaz will testify that I was the only Prime Minister who never sought anything from him for personal or financial gain.”

The blog post is in the backdrop of Malik’s post about X, where the author said he’d “not testify”.
“This was my decision yesterday, and this is my decision today; no matter how much you oppress me, Malik Riaz will not testify!” the billionaire property businessman declared via his X account on Wednesday in response to the government’s announcement concerning his extradition.
Imran was later quoted in his blog post, “Unlike Zardari, I did not have a Bilawal House constructed for me or sold One Hyde Park at double its value as Zardari did.” Sharif family.
“The future of Pakistan’s youth is important for me, and it was for this reason that Al-Qadir University was established,” the article said.
