Big News for Music Lovers: The Weeknd Has Something Special
The Weeknd excited his fans by releasing a new concert film for Spotify’s Billions Club. Spotify announced this on their official Instagram page by sharing a video of the popular artist. The caption read, “Watch @theweeknd’s Billions Club Live concert film on Spotify now!”
This news follows the 34-year-old singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, collaborating with Spotify for the first-ever invite-only Billions Club Live concert in December 2024. According to NME, he released the full performance on January 7 via Spotify.
During the concert, the Canadian artist performed many of his biggest hits, including his latest single, Dancing in the Flames, which is part of his upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. This sixth studio album will be released on January 24, 2025, through XO and Republic Records. It will feature guest appearances from Playboi Carti and Anitta. The new album is the trilogy’s final part, following After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022).
