King Charles Faces a Challenging Start to the New Year
Experts think King Charles will face a demanding and challenging January. This is because Meghan Markle is launching her cooking show just as he returns to work after the Christmas break. Royal commentator Daniela Elser shared her thoughts on this in an article for News.com.au.
She noted that the show’s marketing suggests focusing on joy and love but doesn’t mention who will handle the cleanup. Elser pointed out that whether the show, titled “With Love,” becomes widespread, it will debut on January 15, around the same time the King resumes his public duties.
Elser remarked that it would be hard to draw attention to the King, especially if he is visiting a food bank in Hull while Meghan’s show is premiering. She also mentioned that Prince Harry will return to London in late January or early February, nearly a year since he last saw his father.
Harry will be in town for four days to testify in his court case against News Group Newspapers over alleged hacking. Elser expressed concern that Harry might say something damaging, which would be alarming for the 76-year-old King. She concluded by noting that only Oprah Winfrey knows what Harry might reveal.
