LAHORE: On Friday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the inductees for the esteemed PCB Hall of Fame Class of 2024, which includes four legendary cricketers.

Former cricket legends Inzamam-ul-Haq, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mushtaq Mohammad, and Saeed Anwar have been inducted into the PCB Hall of Fame for 2024. This year is notable for the Hall of Pakistan, which welcomes four inductees instead of the usual two. This increase was made possible due to the absence of inductees in 2023. The PCB Hall of Fame was created to recognize the contributions of Pakistan’s cricket legends and already features icons such as Abdul Qadir, A.H. Kardar, Fazal Mahmood, Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Younis Khan, and Zaheer Abbas. He also took a moment to acknowledge the achievements of all four inductees. “Mushtaq Mohammad is celebrated as one of Pakistan’s best captains, noted for his insightful leadership and m” motivational style. The inductees

Inzamam, a fundamental figure in Pakistan cricket from 1991 to 2007, played a vital role in the team’s triumph at the 1992 World Cup and is celebrated as one of the country’s most incredible middle-order batters. Misbah, known for his determination, played for Pakistan from 2001 to 2017 and led the team to achieve the top position in the ICC Test Team Rankings in 2016 and to a landmark Test series win in the Caribbean. From 1959 to 1979, Mushtaq was an innovator in leadership, guiding Pakistan to its inaugural Test victory in Australia in 1977 and coaching the team to the 1999 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final. As a skilled opener, Saeed represented Pakistan from 1989 to 2003, amassing 31 centuries and 68 half-centuries, excelling in various World Cups, and renowned for his elegant technique and versatility.
