US Becomes Pakistan’s Largest Export Market in First 5 Months of FY25
ISLAMABAD: From July to November 2024-25, total exports to the US reached $2.512 billion, compared to $2.299 billion during the same period in 2023-24, reflecting an increase of 9.29%, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Following the US, exports to China amounted to $1.053 billion, down from $1.223 billion last year, indicating a decline of 13.93%.
According to SBP data, the UK ranked as the third-largest export market, with Pakistan exporting goods worth $935.018 million during the reviewed months, up from $863.481 million.
Pakistani exports to the UAE reached $925.594 million compared to $817.848 million from the previous year, while exports to Germany totaled $707.649 million, up from $613.778 million last year. For the same period, exports to Holland amounted to $621.164 million versus $560.266 million, while exports to Italy were recorded at $480.727 million, down from $501.999 million. Pakistan’s exports to Spain reached $600.

871 million, a decrease from $638.846 million last year, while exports to Afghanistan rose to $406.674 million from $234.563 million. Exports to Bangladesh reached $313.998 million, an increase from $241.960 million. Likewise, during the reviewed months, exports to France were $230.857 million, compared to $207.183 million previously, and exports to Belgium amounted to $257.895 million, up from $236.207 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia amounted to $303.421 million this year, an increase from $275.619 million the previous year, while exports to Turkiye totaled $136.769 million, down from $158.843 million.
