UAE President Signals Increased Investment in Talks with PM
ISLAMABAD: During a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahaney in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday, the United Arab Emirates expressed great enthusiasm for working with Pakistan in the minerals and agriculture sectors.
In a statement, both presidents underlined their common dedication to strengthening political, cultural, and financial connections throughout the conference. They covered a broad spectrum of topics, including economic cooperation, regional stability, climate change, and global mutual interest promotion.
President Nahanchyan drove the car earlier, joined by the prime minister. The prime minister welcomed the UAE president and said Pakistan was his second home. He also commended the UAE’s leadership and its role as Pakistan’s significant development and investment partner. He underlined Pakistan’s preparedness to increase collaboration in commerce, infrastructure, renewable energy, technology, and skill development.
President Nahyan underlined the UAE’s interest in working with Pakistan in the mining, minerals, and agricultural sectors. Under PM Shehbaz, he claimed, the economy was headed in the correct direction.He underlined how this fresh economic vitality has opened doors for more bilateral cooperation and investment. Emphasizing the value of people-to-person relationships and shared prosperity, the president stressed in his remarks the UAE’s will to strengthen its long-standing alliance with Pakistan.PM Shehbaz thanked the president for his consistent support of the UAE, especially in terms of humanitarian help and development assistance, despite trying circumstances. Both leaders reiterated their commitment to peace and advancement in the area, vowing to cooperate closely on issues of common interest.
