Pakistani Student Shines as Best Delegate at Harvard MUN in Dubai
Lahore: Pakistani student Rania Ali has hit a major moment in her life by being named the top delegate during the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) conference, which was held at Dubai’s Harvard University.
The world-class conference, one of the biggest MUN events in the world, brought together over 1,000 participants from more than 35 countries to showcase their diplomacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills on an international stage.
Ali’s outstanding ability to manage diplomacy, critical thinking, and exceptional skills have won her the highest award.
“It is an honour for me to represent Pakistan on a global platform,” she declared, exuding her joy in shining a positive light on our country in the eyes of the world. I am proud that I presented a positive image of my country to the world,” she said.
The Harvard MUN is an opportunity for the next generation of minds worldwide to debate and suggest solutions to humanity’s most pressing issues. Ali’s feat highlights Pakistan’s capacity to shine a light on international forums.
Her feat aligns with the recent triumph of another Pakistani youngster, Shehram Wasi, who received the highest honour at the same event.
Shehram’s victory is especially significant because he is among the youngest delegate ever to receive this prestigious honor.
