Pakistani Rupee Drops by 4 Paisa Against US Dollar
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) depreciated 0.4 paise against the US dollar (USD) during interbank trading, concluding at Rs278.66, a decrease from the previous day’s closing of Rs278.62.The open market buying and selling rates of the dollar were Rs 278.60 and Rs 280.10, respectively, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the price of the Euro increased by Rs2.45 to close at Rs 290.30, an increase from the previous day’s closing of Rs287.85.The British Pound exchange rate increased by Rs 2.74 to Rs349.81, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs347.07. The Japanese yen remained unchanged at Rs1.76, while the British Pound closed at Rs349.81.
The exchange rates of the Saudi Riyal and the Emirates Dirham increased by 01 and 03 paise, respectively, to close at Rs74.22 and Rs75.86.Before this, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) value decreased by six paisas in interbank trading against the US dollar (USD). The currency closed at Rs278.62, which is lower than the previous day’s price of Rs278.56.
The open market buying and selling rates of the dollar were Rs278.50 and Rs 280.00, respectively, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported that the Euro’s price increased by Rs1.28 to close at Rs 287.85, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs286.57.The British pound’s exchange rate increased by Rs 1.52 and was traded at Rs347.07, an increase from the previous day’s closing of Rs345.55. The Japanese yen decreased by 01 paise and closed at Rs1.76, while the British Pound increased by Rs 1.52 and was traded at Rs347.07.
