Nestle, Unilever, PIA Ranked as Pakistan’s Happiest Workplaces
The recently published list of the World’s Happiest Workplaces 2025 identified Nestle, Unilever, and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) as some of the top happiest workplaces in Pakistan, according to a press release.
This list was put together by WorkL, a platform focused on employee experience that evaluates engagement and happiness among workers. Other companies in Pakistan recognized as the happiest workplaces include Bank Alfalah, Pakistan Super League (PSL), the University of Karachi, Pakistan State Oil, Alltech, HBL Bank, Meezan Bank, Pakistan Petroleum, Jadeed, and Factory X.
Holding the top position, South Africa’s DiFusion Technologies achieved a perfect happiness score of 100, while The Pavilion Shopping Centre and the US-based Avis Budget Group followed in second and third places, respectively. Over 100,000 organizations participated in the race for their 2025 accolades, as stated in the press release.
Additionally, more than a million employees completed the Happy at Work Test to help their organizations qualify for the awards. This anonymous test assessed several factors: well-being, job satisfaction, reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, and instilling pride. It was noted that organizations which received a score of 70 or higher were featured on the list.
