Reports indicate that the initial delegation arrived in Karachi yesterday, and the official ICC Secretariat will start its operations in Pakistan in the third week of January.
The ICC’s reconnaissance team’s visit aims to evaluate branding, broadcasting, accommodations, and venues for the Champions Trophy. This is a standard visit conducted by a six-member ICC team.
The delegation comprises members from logistics, marketing, broadcasting, events management, and various other fields.
The ICC team is set to visit Karachi, followed by locations in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
It is important to note that the ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled starting February 19 in three cities in Pakistan.
